Heading to Cali

Who would believe it? That the Isaziga family would live in New Jersey and now be in route to Southern California. The first time I set foot in San Diego back in 2003 I was leading a mission trip across the border into Baja California. I remember walking out of the airport and being completely amazed by the climate. I then was wowed by an In n Out Burger. Well...fourteen years later. We are not going because of the climate or In n Out Burgers. For about ten years now we have experienced the call and the burden on our hearts to start a movement for the mission of Jesus. One thing I have discovered is that with God His ways are not our ways and His timing is different than ours (Isa. 55:8-9). Two times in the past He called me to launch off and plant, but I did not answer or even explore that calling. It happened again a third time at the beginning of 2016. That was when I realized that God was testing my trust in Him and my obedience to Him. Those two other times in the past I neither had the faith or courage to obey Him. This time we needed to explore. We began exploring at the beginning of 2016, and God has been confirming His calling 100%.

We have partnered with church planting organizations, a network of churches in San Diego, and friends & family who are supporting us in many ways. God has also been blessing us by connecting the paths of some amazing people to form our team. San Diego is one of the top 10 largest cities in the U.S., with a high number of its population being un-churched and predominantly young. We have a passion for seeing young people and young families meet Jesus, fall in love with Him, & follow Him the rest of their lives. We love Jesus and His mission in the world. We can't wait to get started.

More news to come soon.
